Role Overview

Location: The 1916 Company HQ - Bala Cynwyd PA

Type: Part-Time (20 hrs/week)

Reports to: Video Production Manager


At The 1916 Company, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. As a Junior Videographer, you will support our marketing team in editing and producing engaging and thoughtful video content to utilize across all channels. You’ll be responsible for editing short-form video content including product videos, interviews, event coverage, as well as assistant editing long-form video content. You will also be responsible for facilitating in the backend maintenance and uploading of all watch review video content on The 1916 Company Watch Reviews YouTube channel. Additionally, you should have experience with on-set work and be able to operate professional video/audio equipment. As a junior videographer you will be maintaining the brand voice across our various platforms



Responsibilities


  • Assist in the posting of watch reviews on various platforms developing compelling and SEO-friendly titles, ensuring that content aligns with The 1916 Company's brand image.
  • Edit and deliver short-form video content for multiple digital platforms with direction from Creative Directors, Video Production Manager and the creative team.
  • Assist editors in project organization and setup.
  • Maintain a thorough and consistent brand voice throughout all video edits across a multitude of platforms.
  • Assist in on-set production in all capacities including gear breakdown and set-up, camera operation, audio recording, rigging and lighting, etc. including in-studio and on-location shoots.
  • Work collaboratively with video team, designers, photographers, copywriters and digital marketing to ensure a unified message across channels
  • Present ideas in a clear and concise manner and translate ideas into effective visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Media & Watch Specialist in the creation and dissemination of watch reviews to ensure a smooth workflow.



Requirement skills and qualifications

  • Editor reel/previous work required for consideration
  • Bachelor's degree in film/video plus previous on-set production work
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro 
  • Understanding of and experience with professional video/audio equipment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to turn around polished and on-brand video content while meeting daily deadlines
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and the Creative Cloud Suite
  • Experience with Davinci Resolve
  • General understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms
  • Understanding of the luxury industry especially luxury watches
