EMPIST is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for our growing team!
We are looking for a bright, motivated, detail-oriented IT Project Manager to be responsible for coordinating, tracking, scheduling and managing the diverse components of IT projects (Network/Server Refreshes, O365/Cloud Migrations, Wi-Fi Deployments, etc.) in order to execute these projects effectively, efficiently, on time and in budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate project requirements
- Explain services, scope, and project objectives in clear terms to clients and manage client expectations for delivery
- Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with the project scope
- Coordinate and communicate project-related information
- Create and manage resource, vendor, and client schedules as need for project delivery
- Coordinate and schedule project meetings and calls
- Lead client kick-off, update, and close out meetings
- Manage change order process
- Manage the onboarding of new MSP clients
- Liaise with clients sponsors on projects and weekly stand-up calls
- Quality control work and deliverables
- Work with technical and non-technical resources to ensure on time and on budget delivery
- Address escalations from internal resources and clients
- Understand the EMPIST services catalog and manage clients toward standardization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five or more years’ experience fulfilling technology PM role
- Experience with the Teamwork PM Software a plus
- PMP certification or in-pursuit a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and proactive
- Ability to interpret, process, and deliver on SOW's
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under moderate pressure
- Comfortable liaising with stakeholders from all levels, client-facing and internally
- Basic understanding of various technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with the O365 Stack
- Driven to learn, grow into a bigger role and take on more responsibilities
