As an Account Manager, your proficiency in agency management systems, property and casualty rating and underwriting, and dedication to customer advocacy will be essential for your daily responsibilities. You'll actively interact with Clients and Prospects, overseeing policy reviews, facilitating policy adjustments, addressing billing and policy inquiries, monitoring and evaluating claims, conducting document audits, and supporting Sales Executives, Customer Service Techs, and the Director in account maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Best Practices by following up on newly issued policies.
Engage directly with Clients and Prospects to gather information, request documents, address inquiries, aid with billing and payments, and manage claims filing.
Conduct annual account reviews and update rating information and RCEs.
Handle quoting and processing policy changes and cancellations.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, addressing requests and discussing risk approval as necessary.
Collaborate with Mortgagees and Additional Insureds to exchange information and documentation.
Manage a calendar to assist Sales Executives in scheduling client conferences (phone/video) and meetings.
Analyze carrier rating and product trends to support the Director in developing individual account strategies.
Review renewals for accuracy, calculate premium changes, and research and document factors contributing to premium increases to devise action plans.
Advise Sales Executives on marketing, remarketing, or account rounding opportunities.
Coordinate with the Director and Sales Executives to prioritize Prospect quoting and Client remarketing.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director.
Requirements
Demonstrated capability to work independently while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
Willingness to conduct independent research and seek guidance for clarification or problem-solving as needed.
Effective prioritization and multitasking skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Services, & Zoom.
Enthusiasm for embracing new technologies and ideas, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow as a team member.
Application of technical expertise in insurance coverage, terminology, and concepts.
Commitment and ability to adhere to uniform processes and naming conventions.
Adaptability and adeptness in communicating ideas with stakeholders to foster collaboration within the department.
Possession of a Property & Casualty Insurance license for Indiana.
2-3 years of experience using agency management systems, such as Epic or AMS360.
