Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift

Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in setting up, monitoring, and operating machinery to cut and bend materials to precise angles as per specifications outlined in blueprints. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, precision, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented manufacturing setting.

*The schedule for this position is from Monday to Thursday, with working hours from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM (10-hour shifts). There may be occasional overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Set up machines, ensuring accurate calibration, settings, and specifications for each production run.
• Conduct regular inspections during production processes.
• Record production data, including quantities produced and any deviations from standards, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Efficiently prepare and operate machinery such as roll forming mills, shears, saws, brake presses, curving rolls, lathes, and stamping presses.
• Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency and uphold high-quality standards.
• Ensure the correct dies are utilized for corresponding part numbers.
• Independently carry out routine duties and responsibilities following established ISO 9002 procedures and policies.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and secure working environment for all personnel.

• 1 year of proven experience in manufacturing, demonstrating proficiency in machinery operation.
• Proficiency in machine operation, setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of diverse manufacturing processes like cutting, bending, and material forming.
• Familiarity with common manufacturing tools and equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Exceptional focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to identify and address quality issues promptly during production.
• Proficient in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Commitment to strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to undergo cross-training and acquire new skills as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of performing physical tasks like standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
• Ability to handle heavy objects or materials as required by the manufacturing process.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
