The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment firm in the New York City area. They have an immediate need for a Payroll Analyst to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

 

Analyst, People Operations

This role is accountable and responsible for all aspects of Payroll, Human Resource Information Systems and People Analytics for the firm. The Human Resource Information Systems and Payroll Specialist will work closely with the Human Resource Information Systems & Analytics Lead on people analytics, resolving questions and problems and supports with delivering quality customer service.

 

Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Process full cycle semi-monthly payroll in ADP and UPRO payroll system for 260+ employees.

• Research and promptly resolve employee/client/system issues, requests and inquiries.

• Actively participate in Human Resources and Payroll policy development and documentation.

• Exercise high degree of confidentiality relative to all payroll information and employee privacy initiatives.

• Help drive high client satisfaction through excellent customer service, prompt follow-up, seamless vendor management and proactive problem-solving.

• Build various people analytics on various Human Resource metrics.

• Perform periodic audits on internal and external system controls and processes.

• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years of years of relevant experience (family office, wealth management or other similar experience is preferred).

• Solid understanding of ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of federal, state (CA & NY) and local payroll tax regulations.

• Proven ability in MS Office, data entry and office equipment.

• Proven thoughtful, collaborative and goal-oriented leadership in a fast-paced environment.
