JOB DESCRIPTION


POSITION: Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: Auburn Hills, Michigan


OBJECTIVE

Commercial Contracting Corporation, an employee owned company, is in search of a Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales and Marketing team. The function of this position is to provide support to our sales and estimating teams by assisting with all marketing responsibilities with the goal of generating revenue and increasing brand awareness and recognition. The successful candidate will provide marketing and communication services to support all components of the Commercial Contracting Group family of Companies.

This full time exempt position requires a self-starter who is dynamic, active and responsive to both internal and external client needs.  No two days will look alike, so be ready for some variety. The successful candidate will support our team by creating proposals, website materials, social media posts, proposals, presentations and more.  

 


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design, organize, compose and manage qualifications, proposals and presentations.
  • Manage the awards application process by gathering materials and creating submittals.
  • Assist with brand management by designing/creating and continually updating the firms’ website, social media, brochures, presentations, newsletters, press releases, PR campaigns, corporate documentation, videos, etc.
  • Create graphics for advertisements, company functions, trade shows and events.
  • Support and organize customer relationship programs including, but not limited to, customer satisfaction surveys, client events/parties, trade shows, etc.
  • Use and maintain Customer Relationship Management System.
  • Stay current in the business by joining industry related professional groups and conduct market research to support our efforts to “Win” work.


CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphics Design, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
  • Experience – Minimum 2 years of marketing, advertising, graphics design, social media experience with a portfolio of work to show is preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance long term goals and objectives while prioritizing multiple stakeholder requests to meet day-to-day deadlines for proposals, ad copy, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Typical programs used on a weekly basis will include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Proficiency with online email marketing platforms is a bonus.
  • Strong written communication skills, creative ability and attention to detail.
  • The position requires a degree of creativity, flexibility and latitude.
  • Strong social skills to interact with clients, suppliers and company, professionally and positively.
