We are currently searching for dedicated CNC Mill Operators to join our team.

What is a CNC Mill Operator?

A CNC mill operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines. This role involves interpreting blueprints, loading materials into the machine, and configuring the equipment to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. CNC mill operators are skilled in adjusting machine settings, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the accurate and efficient production of machined parts. Attention to detail, knowledge of CNC programming, and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks are essential for success in this role.

In this role, you will:

Setup and operate Mill and adjust as needed.

Demonstrate safety in the mill operation process. Goal of zero recordable injuries.

Ensure production of all parts meet OI quality standards by utilizing internal quality processes and SOP.

Identify and assist with machine issues, specifically responsible for communicating to department supervisor and maintenance supervisor when issues arise.

Communication to engineering regarding any changes or adjustments needed for programs.

To succeed in this role, you must:

Have knowledge of preventative maintenance and repairs on Mill

Have organizational skills

Have basic math and computer skills

Read and decipher blueprints

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Samsung and Litz mills a plus, but we will train on all equipment
