Controller/Accounting Manager for Successful Independent Pre-Owned Dealer

*Earn SALARY up to $150,000/yr (based on exp) PLUS YEARLY BONUS**

*CPA LICENSE REQUIRED*

*MUST be BILINGUAL (English & Spanish)

*3+ years of Experience as a Controller in an Automotive Dealership is REQUIRED*

*Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Experience REQUIRED*

*Understanding of CECL and GAAP is REQUIRED*

*Education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is PREFERRED*

Ideal Qualifications:

*5+ years Accounting experience is REQUIRED
*3+ years Experience as a Controller in a Dealership is REQUIRED
*Buy Here/Pay Here Experience is a PLUS!
*Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED
*CECL understanding REQUIRED*
*Fluent in GAAP*
*Experience Managing others with strong Conflict Resolution Skills and Critical Thinking Skills
*Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred, but NOT required
*QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED
*Advanced accounting knowledge of: debits/credits, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation, asset depreciation, sales tax, cash flow, payroll processing, & HR tasks with the ADP system
*Experience in preparing financial reports, conducting internal audits, & presenting financial statements
*Leadership Skills and the ability to assign responsibilities, track progress, and practice accountability of other employees within department
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Strong organizational & planning skills in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to work occasional weekend hours and evenings if needed

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Manage and Oversee the Accounting Department for multiple locations, ensuring the responsibilities of all departmental employees are completed properly and in a timely manner
*Report directly to company leadership regarding financial statements, internal audits, and overall business finances
*Responsible for hiring, terminating, guiding, & training department personnel
*Understand multiple points of sale
*Tag payable/receivable reconciliation
*Cash reconciliation
*Process ACH payments
*Reconcile vendor balances & process payments
*Bank Feed & Perform Bank Reconciliations for the accounts
*Process Journal entries as needed for month end activity
*Calculate depreciation & record numbers
*Process HR tasks/activities
*Assist with year-end internal audit
*Advise with any accounting matters
