The Albuquerque Journal has a tremendous opportunity available for an Editor with a large, well-respected family-owned daily in the Southwest. This is an executive-level position, responsible for leading the Albuquerque Journal newsroom into the 21st century. We are looking for a candidate with strong journalistic integrity; both traditional and multi-media/digital skills; someone who can successfully support the execution of the companies strategic business initiatives; and who possesses top-level organizational and interpersonal skills. The Editor must also be a strong and involved community leader, as well as an individual who can remain current/informed on industry trends while effectively developing staff in the face of an ever changing field.
