Elmhurst University invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Communication and Media. In addition to teaching, the position will contribute creatively to the further development of the Multimedia Journalism major. Interest in developing curriculum is a plus. This position is not a remote position.
Subjects to be taught include reporting, investigative journalism, and writing and editing for print, digital, audio, video, and emerging platforms. Teaching load is 4-5 classes per academic year.

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object. Occasional evening and weekend obligations.
