MTFP's photojournalist documents compelling images that enhance our reporting across digital and print platforms. Working closely with reporters and editors, they illustrate daily, feature and investigative projects statewide, maintaining ethical storytelling standards and contributing to MTFP’s visual identity. Passion for producing impactful journalism is essential.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated technical expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and effectively communicate with colleagues remotely and in person.
This position is in partnership with CatchLight. The corps member will be a CatchLight Local Fellow and along with the host newsroom, be supported by the CatchLight Local Visual Desk.
Salary and Benefits:
The reporter's salary will be determined by their level of experience and will align with one of MTFP’s pay brackets: Tier 1: $46-52k; T2: $52-58k; T3: $58-65k.

Employees are eligible for either a cellphone and plan paid for during their tenure or reimbursement of $50 per month towards their current phone and plan.
