Growth and Development Reporter

Seeking a skilled Business, Growth & Development reporter/writer for our Media Group

We are a forward-thinking group of newspapers/websites in growing Southeast Georgia dedicated to delivering insightful and thought-provoking content.

The Hyundai Motor Group is building its Metaplant America in the heart of our coverage area to produce 300,000+ electric vehicles per year when fully operational. Additionally, a dozen more companies have announced they will build plants producing products to directly support the Metaplant. About 14,000 jobs will be created directly related to the Metaplant during the next two to seven years, which will significantly increase the populations of every part of our region. Covering and helping cover every aspect of the economic impact stemming from the Metaplant will be the primary focus of our Business, Growth & Development reporter/writer.

The reporter will work with editors at each property in coverage of business, growth and development stories that are specific to that property.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced reporter/writer and the salary and other considerations will be competitive with such experience. This is a full-time position offering health benefits, 401/k plan and vacation.
