The The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) Academic Internship Program in Washington, D.C. offers a Journalism + Communications track. As part of the TFAS program, students will:
- Earn academic credit from George Mason University.
- Gain experience through a guaranteed internship at a multimedia news outlet or strategic communications firm.
- Live in furnished housing with other program participants in the heart of Washington, D.C. where they can fully immerse themselves in the city's rich history and culture.
- Access exclusive guest lectures, policy site briefings and professional development events, giving them the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and make connections that will last a lifetime.
With more than $1 million in scholarship funding available, this opportunity is within reach. Upon acceptance students will receive a specific scholarship amount base on both need and merit. This program is only open to undergraduate students.
