Senior Director of Operations & Marketing
Vision Data, the news publishing industry's leading supplier of feature-rich, software applications, is seeking a leader to help us maintain and support our current customer base of hundreds of media companies, as well as manage our growth with sales and marketing leadership.
This is a senior level position that will help manage and oversee all aspects of our company and workforce (including accounting and HR) while keeping a major focus on business growth.
You will report directly to the President & CEO, split your time between our Albany, New York offices and travel to visit current and potential news publishing customers; as well as represent us at industry events.
The winning candidate will:
- Possess a keen knowledge of all aspects of news publishing operations including, multimedia advertising, circulation, CRMs, pagination, layout, and general & administrative functions, likely due to on-site news publishing management experience.
- Have a background in all aspects of B2B sales and providing superior customer service.
- Be comfortable in making sales appointments and product presentations (on site and via Zoom).
- Have a strong background and understanding in all software concepts and have an innate ability to grasp technological elements and be able to translate those into actual customer benefits.
This is a full-time position, with salary, befits and bonuses based on performance, that can include earned company equity.
