About The Role:
You will create compelling copy about products and services that anticipates needs and meets aspirations, while growing customer relationships and driving conversion. You’ll inform and inspire. You’ll collaborate with teams throughout AEP to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively convey the brand story.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate the brand voice, with warmth and empathy, across a variety of customer- and community-facing channels, including web and interactive content, email, blogs, and social media channels.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Creative Services to create assets with compelling calls to action.
Help customers understand the “why” behind our brand, products, benefits and technologies.
Understand the audience and deliver content that inspires brand affinity, preference and loyalty in each channel.
Help meet marketing goals by bringing programs to life in easy to read, and irresistible, crisp copy.
Work closely with cross-functional partners in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development, to the delivery of assets in the appropriate platform.
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by channel, or target audience
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Facilitate consensus and ensure alignment with multiple teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 1-3 years’ experience in journalism or copywriting or related field such as marketing communications, advertising, or content marketing.
3+ years copywriting experience
A portfolio that showcases a strong grasp of brand voice/tone across a variety of channels and audience types
Solid understanding of digital experiences and how to write for each channel (i.e., email, social media, paid media, website, etc.)
Previous experience in high-volume, quick-turn collaborative environments
Strong strategic thinking and persuasive writing skills
Flexible scheduling, up to 100% remote (with some travel for in person collaboration)
